Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit
A mini course is a great team builder for your upcoming expedition. Prepare yourself for your next lake trip Bowron Lakes or any other lake circuit/chain: Myrtle or Nation Lakes. Whether you are kayaking or canoeing, this clinic will ensure everyone is on the same page in terms of lake skills, equipment familiarity and in shared dynamics. Topics can include:
* Advance Lake Stroke Techniques
* Wind/Waves Management
* Packing
* Boat Loading & Launching
* Self / Team rescue
* Wheels use / Techniques
* Introduction to Solo Paddling

For two people cost is $200, for four is $300
For an additional few hours we can include basic river skills. This will prepare you for the Isaac & Cariboo Rivers; learn how to negotiate the dogleg turn (sharp bend to the right), how to maneuver the current to avoid rock and to successfully ferry across to the other side.
For two people cost is $400, for four is $600 (6/720)for both clinics.

NOTE: for the “out of towners”: To complement your advance canoe lesson, Prince George is a great place to visit. P.G. can be used as your starting point: stock up at Costco, purchase your last minute or “forgotten” items at any of our outdoor stores. Plus you can select any of our fine restaurants for your final “expedition eve” dinner or your last big breakfast to fill that eager to go belly!
