Advance Canoe Lessons
All programs are Paddle Canada certified

Tandem Intermediate (Levels 1-4*)

This extended certified lesson will get you to the next level of precision canoeing,
that will enable you to paddle with efficiency and maneuvering with accuracy.
Cost – $150 incl: equipment and 4 sessions. (see itinerary below)

Itinerary

Basic Skills*July 11 & 10th; 5:30pm - 9:30

Equipment review, propulsion strokes, straight lining, maneuvering strokes.
You will discover canoe carries that minimizes back strain, how to tie canoes to your vehicle and learn the safe, easy ways
to enter & exit your boat from shore, dock and water.
Opportunity to try out tipping over rescue and progressive maneuvering moves.
Emphasis on tripping/long distance skills, teamwork and parallel parking.

Intermediate TandemJuly 12; 8am - 6pm

Advance your skills: includes statics and advance strokes, capsizing rescue scenarios, solo, adverse condition techniques and leadership considerations.
