Clinic Details

Level 2 River is designed for those who who wish for a small “taste” of moving waters.
It is the perfect program to learn the skills and to navigate river with no rapids,
In two easy lessons you will learn about river safety, basic stroke technique,
the dynamics and how to read easy currents. 

No experience required and all equipment provided.

Meeting Times

 – Meet at 9am at Cottonwood Park at the confluence. (not boat launch or RR museum)

Price Includes:

  • Rental of boat
  • Paddles, helmet & lifejacket
  • Information/Lecture

What to Bring

  • Water Shoes
  • Snack and water.
  • Extra change of clothes (Practise boat flip will be required)
What to Expect

An understanding the power of the river, along with safety techniques and skills to respect such hazards and challenges:

Morning session consist basic paddling skills on still water.
Afternoon will consist understanding current dynamics with a short river run
