Here are some maps of the most common meeting places for our paddling courses:

West Lake

  1. In the main Beach Parking Lot, turn left, park at the far/east end of the main parking lot; marked yellow “X”.
  2. Walk (with gear) towards the lake, turn left and walk over the creek bridge to the group area/East Shelter; marked pink circle.

Cottonwood Island Park

  1. On River Road, turn towards the river between Railway museum and Grand Trunk Bridge.
  2. Drive to the parking lot at the river confluence.

Ferguson Lake

  1. Turn onto North Kelly Road from Hwy97 N.
  2. Turn left onto Ferguson Lake Road (pink dot).
  3. Continue on this road to the lake, where there is a small parking lot on the left (red dot).

 

Berman Lake

  1. 25 minutes West on Hwy16, turn left on Norman/Berman Lake turn off.
  2. Couple kilometers, is the first parking lot; the path to the canoe launch, wharf and the picnic tables.
  3. Second parking lot (100m further) at the yellow gate; the path to the swimming/group picnic area.

 

Grand Trunk Bridge

  1. Cross the East Railway Bridge onto River Road.
  2. At bottom of the hill turn right into the parking lot, (yellow dot on map).
